4/4/26 - Bike to the Sea's Annual April Fools Ride
Saturday, April 4th from 11am-1pm at Torbert MacDonald Park in Medford
Dust off those bikes and pump up those tires — Bike to the Sea's Annual April Fools Ride is rolling out on Saturday, April 4th from 11am–1pm!
Join us for a fun, easy going 12-mile urban adventure through Somerville and Charlestown as we cruise some of the area’s newest bike infrastructure. This isn’t a prank — we’re talking smooth sailing on newly installed separated bike lanes through Sullivan Square, a scenic spin along the Somerville Community Path, and a roll through beautiful Paul Revere Park.
We’ll start and finish at the gorgeous Torbert MacDonald Park in Medford, so you can soak up those river views before and after the ride.
Whether you’re a seasoned cyclist or just rediscovering your handlebars, this relaxed group ride is the perfect way to kick off the season. See you there!

4/16/26 - Mystic River Reservation Wayfinding Bike Ride
When: Thursday, April 16, 5:30 PM until 7 PM (Rain Date: April 21)
Where: Start/End location will be the amphitheater at Sylvester Baxter Riverfront Park, located at the intersection of Assembly Row & Greater River Road in Somerville.
What: Join Mystic River Watershed Association for an upcoming bike ride to identify wayfinding improvements in the Mystic River Reservation! The bike ride will bring attendees about 5 miles along the Mystic River between the Amelia Earhart Dam and Medford Square, taking approximately 90 minutes.
