Kids Helmet Event & D.I.Y. Bike Rodeo
Free Helmets
In partnership with Medford Recreation and Breakstone, White & Gluck Project KidSafe we'll be distributing bike helmets to kids at Tufts Park on Main Street on Friday, June 3, 2022 from 5–7 p.m. The helmets are absolutely free and we'll be showing kids—and grownups—how to fit them for maximum comfort and protection.
The helmets are available in three sizes and will be available while supplies last.
Small: 50-54 cm.
Medium: 54–58 cm.
Large: 58–62 cm.
Do-it-Yourself Bike Rodeo
Kids, groups, bring your bikes and ride the half-mile obstacle course!
We'll have the paved path around the park set up as a Traffic Garden with signs, markings and obstacles to challenge your bike knowledge and skills. There will be a quiz. And prizes, too.
