We'll also highlight some very practical places you can get to without ever riding on the street like how to get to the Orange Line station, go shopping at Assembly Row or cross under busy Rt. 28 and Rt. 16.
This leisurely-paced tour will travel multi-use paths on flat terrain and is suited to riders of all ages and abilities. As we always do, we'll mix in some bike handling and safety skills that you can use for riding on the street.
Meet at the MacDonald Park parking lot. The ride will leave at 3 p.m. and end at 5 p.m. at the observation tower not far from the starting point.
League of American Bicyclists Cycling Instructors Patrick Bibbins and Bruce Kulik will be available to review specific riding skills and techniques after the ride.
Massachusetts state law requires that helmets be worn by bike riders 16 and under. We strongly recommend them for everyone else.
